WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT IT:

In the Huab River Valley, Damaraland Camp nestles in one of the more untouched wilderness areas of Namibia. 10 light and spacious chalets are raised on decks, and designed using fresh natural colours of cream and clay. They are luxuriously furnished with twin beds and a large writing desk, as well as a dressing area and en-suite bathroom.

In the spacious main area you will find a dining room and lounge with a cozy fireplace. An outdoor boma and large deck is perfect for embracing the warm evenings while the swimming pool cools you off during the hot summer days. The views stretch across desert plains and the dips and peaks of the Etendeka Mountains.

The desert is not where you will find big herds of game or many predators. On game drives you may see desert-adapted elephant, springbok, kudu, gemsbok, and occasionally lion, cheetah, and black rhino are seen at the right time of year.
