Overlooking the breathtaking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge offers an intimate Ugandan jungle safari experience. An idyllic stream separates the lodge and the forest, so wildlife such as chimpanzees, mountain gorillas and monkeys can be spotted from the comfort of one's private room.

The accommodation here is made up by Bandas - these are made from stone and timber, and are glass-fronted with thatched roofs, allowing for them to blend effortlessly into the surroundings as well as reflect the local building style.

This is generally a camp for the more active guests as most activities involve lots of walking or hiking - which can be tough - but is nonetheless worth it and you will be well rewarded.
